Make Applesauce in the Crock Pot!

INGREDIENTS

  • 3 lbs. apples, peeled, cored, and sliced (about 6)

  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar

  • 1/4 cup brown sugar

  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon

  • 1/2 cup water

DIRECTIONS

  1. Place the apples into the bowl of your crockpot. Sprinkle the sugars and cinnamon over the apples and mix well.

  2. Pour the water into the crockpot and place the lid on top.

  3. Cook over high heat for four hours.

  4. Once the apples are cooked, remove the lid and mix the apples using a wire whisk, stirring until smooth or until desired consistency is reached. If needed, add more sugar or honey to taste.

You can serve the applesauce warm or allow it to cool and store it in a sealed container in the refrigerator to enjoy all week
