REFRIGERANT 101

If your system is 10 years or older, you may be using a form of refrigerant that has been phased out by the EPA, called R-22. This type of refrigerant is expensive and many HVAC companies are selling substitutes that are in violation of industry regulations and put you, the owner, at risk of reducing cooling capacity and fire.

Stanfield can help you properly maintain your system, and when you're ready, we'd be happy to provide a free estimate to replace it with something that will cost less to maintain and reduce your energy bill each month.
